Commonly Asked Questions:
Dancing with the Stars - Spring-Ford Style!
1. What is the Dancing with the Stars event?
Styled after TV's "Dancing with the Stars", this exciting event will provide guests with a wonderful evening of entertainment. During the evening's festivities, dance teams will complete for the coveted Mirrored Ball Award and other awards. The winning dancing team(s) will be determined by a panel of judges and votes from the audience. Votes are created in the form of funds donated. Funds raised will benefit our community and keeping our students safe at the SNAP Post Prom Event.
2. Where do the proceeds go?
SNAP (SpringFord Post Prom) committee has been running for over seven years now. Last year we had over 800 students who were safe because they chose to attend the SNAP Post Prom event instead of going to parties or driving to places and putting themselves in potentially dangerous situations. We are very proud of our achievements and the hard work of a lot of people connected with SNAP has led to this success. There are however many expenses connected with this event and we rely for funding solely on our own fundraising events and the support of people like you and our local businesses.
Our budget includes funding for entertainment, food, prizes, decorations, and activities. Dancing with the Stars event helps us meet our financial goal.

SNAP needs help in many different areas. Certainly, we need funds to help make the Post Prom happen, but more importantly, we welcome donations of time, prizes, resources, and skills. If you have a little bit of time or a lot, we have a job for everyone. We need help throughout the year to make this important and spectacular night happen for the community.
